FFD Mission 4(?) - Mirrored Lives

Lirian was on her way to see Arkeon's Mirror put on display at Adel Peak when something had gone terribly wrong. She was ambushed by several monsters on the way there, two goblins and a Land Turtle. Lirian drew her sword and quickly dispatched the goblins but when she took notice of the giant turtle, she ran.

She ran as fast as she could but the Land Turtle had always seemed to be one step ahead of her. When it seemed like all hope was lost, she found what seemed like a window to an alternate world, and there, looking back at her, was a Red Mage with the same silver hair and violet eyes, except, the Red Mage's eyes shone with a much different, more desperate intensity. Forgetting the mirror, who was this person? What happened beyond the looking glass?

Lirian, as skilled as she was with sword and spell, was drawn to Arkeon's Mirror that was put on display at Adel Peak out of sheer curiosity. She chose the best route there, but apparently not the safest. Just then, two lizardmen and a Wyvern had caught her from behind. Lirian dispatched the Lizardmen with a quick blast from a Thunder spell and stood her ground against the Wyvern. The Wyvern unleashed a blast of Fira, clipping Lirian's shoulder and hip.

She ran as fast as she could but the Wyvern always seemed to cut her off at the pass. When it seemed like all hope was lost, she saw a young girl the same age, but different clothing. As Lirian approached, she winced with every step, her eyes shone with with a much more desperate intensity. Forgetting the mirror, just who was this person? Will she be able to stop the terror behind both herself and the girl standing before her?
